IGE will repair fans and direct drive sealed motors from any manufacturer. IGE is able to offer its 2-year warranty on rebuilds of units from other manufacturers because the IGE engineering team will propose design upgrades to bring the equipment up to IGE’s standards.

Yes. IGE has extensive experience reverse engineering heavily damaged fan equipment that is often over 50 years old. IGE can engineer rebuild parts and direct fit complete replacements that have improved performance and energy efficiency. 

IGE operates on a standard 6-week lead time but can support both tight turnarounds during planned equipment downtimes and emergency service (turnarounds in days instead of weeks).  

IGE rebuilds are warrantied for 2 years but often see service lives exceeding 5 or even 10 years before another major rebuild is required. If you aren’t getting 2 years of service life from units you are rebuilding internally or with another vendor, contact IGE to improve service life, reduce cost, and eliminate unplanned downtime. 

No, there is no obligation to move forward with a repair or replacement. Equipment can be returned or scrapped upon request. 

The IGE team will complete field visits to assess equipment, but all repairs are completed at IGE’s Westmont, IL facility to deliver the highest quality service. Repairs & rebuilds are static and dynamic balanced on IGE’s high precision balancing equipment, yielding the same quality balance that a brand-new IGE unit offers. Repairs, bearing alignments, and balancing cannot reach the same level of quality or precision in the field as they can in our manufacturing facility.
