IGE is committed to respond to emergency breakdowns and repair your fan as fast as possible keeping your downtime to a minimum. With more than 95 years of fan manufacturing expertise, we can also repair fans by other manufacturers. Our large inventory of bearings, seals, heat resistant alloys, drives, and other critical components allows us to expedite your repairs.

We utilize the latest computer design software, proven manufacturing methods, full machine shop services, state-of-the-art high definition CNC plasma table, and a highly skilled and dedicated work force to get you back and running, FAST!

TESTING AND BALANCING

IGE has the capability of balancing fans with motors as large as 150 HP at 460 Volts. We use analyzers to measure potential sources of vibration such as imbalances in the impellers, shaft misalignment, bent shaft, defective fan shaft bearings, defective motor bearings, and imbalance in the drive components. Every fan wheel is balanced statically and dynamically in two planes before it is shipped. Each fan wheel and other rotating attachments such as sheaves and heat slingers undergo a strict balancing procedure to insure that we meet or exceed fan industry vibration standards established per ANSI/AMCA Standard 204-05 (R2012).
