Configurations

IGE offers a variety of mounting configurations including free standing and plug type fans. Both types can be supplied with or without motors, drives, and OSHA guards. The free standing housing fans are supplied with either single wall or double walled housings. The double walled housings are insulated for high temperature operation. They have a unitary floor frame for ease of mounting and installation. The inner housing inlet and outlet connections can be supplied with or without flanges per customer specifications. The removable plug cartridge design allows for easy wheel replacement and maintenance.

Plug fans are designed to fit the opening of the outer furnace wall. The plugs and mounting flanges are available in either round or square shapes. These fans are designed to mount through the wall, roof or floor base of the furnace for wheel operation in the horizontal, vertical down, or vertical up position. Plug fans can also be supplied with our special direct drive sealed Kaybee motor which would eliminate the need for a separate motor mount, v-belt drives and provide gas tight operation.
